Customer Insights Manager [Denmark]


 

As Customer Insights Manager at Milestone Systems, you will be overall responsible for professionalizing, driving, and governing customer research and insights across Milestone.

In this role, you are a key player in managing customer research and analytics projects, quantitative as well as qualitative, to extract actionable insights.

You will project lead a virtual team of talented customer researchers and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify needs, pains, and gains and help shape the company's customer strategy by providing data-backed recommendations.

Your insights will help inform product development, enhance product positioning, customer experiences, and customer satisfaction, ultimately driving business growth.

Your role will be in Product Marketing and will report directly to the VP of Product Marketing.

Your Responsibilities

Collaboration:

  • Unite, align, and motivate a high-performing team of colleagues across Milestone (analysts and researchers) to take Customer Insights in Milestone to the next level.
  • Work closely with senior leadership, marketing, product development, sales, and customer support teams to align efforts with customer insights.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and advocate for the customer within the organization.

Customer Research:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive customer insights strategy and framework aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Define overall goals for the strategy, including KPIs, milestones, and how to measure progress and deliveries continuously.
  • Identify and drive a “Hero-project” based on the suggested framework to help showcase the value of customer insights.
  • Plan and execute customer research projects, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, online feedback analysis, and data extraction from existing 1st party data.
  • Oversee customer data collection, analysis, and interpretation from various sources.
  • Analyze and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to identify customer needs, pains, gains, and preferences.

Customer Segmentation:

  • Develop and refine customer segmentation models to better understand customers across business segments, industries, roles, and regions.
  • Use segmentation insights to inform marketing strategies, product strategies, and customer experiences across the end-to-end customer journey.

Reporting and Presentation:

  • Create clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate insights to various stakeholders, including senior management.
  • Collaborate with teams across the global organization to ensure insights are integrated into actionable strategies.

Your Profile

Ideally you see yourself as an expert in Customer Insights and have the ability of defining strategies and being hands-on implementing processes and working with analytics. Furthermore, we see you have most of below:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Business).
  • Proven experience in customer insights, market research, or related roles.
  • Preferably experience with setting up customer insight and research in a larger organization
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization software, statistical software).
  • A high degree of structural and project management capabilities and a proven track record of moving projects forward and delivering according to plan.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience with survey design and analysis.
  • High proficiency/fluent in English – both written and verbal

Please note that the position is on-site at our headquarters in Brøndby, Denmark, and requires that you have a valid Danish work visa.
